At N4 Esthetic Clinic the PRP Facial is performed by a certified  professional in a clinical setting.

• A blood sample from your body is obtained (similar to a regular blood test procedure), and prepared by spinning it in a centrifuge machine. The specimen obtained is a liquid with the highly concentrated platelet rich plasma, which contains many growths factors.
• Your skin is prepared with a micro-needling device, and the platelet rich liquid is injected into your skin under local anesthesia. 

After,  you will  be able to return home or work immediately. Anesthetic medication used to numb the skin is not sedating, and you will be able to drive or use machinery safely.

PRP facial is considered a safe, natural treatment since it utilizes the platelets from your own body and there is minimal chance of developing an allergic reaction.  Vampire facials through PRP therapy are considered effective for adults of all ages, all Fitzpatrick skin types, and all people of different ethnic diversity. It is a great modality to achieve skin rejuvenation and tightening without downtime or pain.

PRP Facial is contraindicated for people with a history of diabetes, a blood-clotting disorder, active infection of the skin, a history of shingles, or those taking immunosuppressant and blood-thinning medications.

The PRP facial procedure  takes around 20-30 minutes. However, we advise planning to spend 60-90 minutes in our office so we could apply numbing cream, collect and process your blood for the  procedure.

 Absolutely not! Before the PRP facial procedure,  a numbing cream will be applied to the skin area to be treated. After application of PRP liquid, a microneedling device is carefully glided along the skin.  After the PRP facial, you might experience a mild inflammatory response and may have mild redness and bruising, which will subside in several days.

 The PRP Facial needs to be performed several times (we recommend at least 3 procedures), every three to four weeks to be effective. PRP Facial treatments can help create new collagen in your skin, diminish wrinkles and acne scars, minimize pore size, and rejuvenate your skin.

 The results of this facial PRP therapy last one to two years or longer. We recommend maintaining your skin results and performing follow-up treatments every 12-24 months as needed.
